Spirituality is a process of learning lessons to enhance and strengthen our spirit from within. It is a practice that can only be achieved through individual will and voluntary commitment. However, once one has chosen to follow their spiritual path the world can be seen in a very different light.
Spiritual practice allows us to reconnect to our spirit mind and gives us an opportunity to view our reality as an observer. The ultimate purpose of spirituality is an individual rationalization, however, a widely philosophized perspective is that spirituality leads to enlightenment and the realization that we are one with an all-loving God.
The differences of opinion about Spirituality reside in the varying Religious perspectives of the practice – some of which believe that to achieve a reunification with God, we must be saved by God who ultimately will judge us for how we lived our experience in this reality, whereas others believe we have never been a part from God and are simply giving ourselves the opportunity through spiritual practice to remember our true existence—that we are and have always been one with God and have simply chosen to deny our sub-conscious mind of the truth out of fear.
